The revamped menu, available across all Acela routes, was designed by James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Stephen Starr, known for his high-end establishments in cities like New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. Inspired by his top restaurants, the new dishes include charred Bobo chicken with acorn squash from St. Anselm, ricotta ravioli with plum tomato sauce from Parc in Philadelphia, and crab enchiladas with coconut and poblano peppers from El Presidente in D.C. Each meal is complemented by a selection of premium wines and spirits.
Along with the gourmet food, Acela's first-class passengers can now enjoy upgraded tableware, linen tablecloths, and a hot towel service, making the ride feel even more indulgent. This is in addition to established perks like priority boarding, private lounges, and complementary food and beverage onboard.
